Jon Kay is Head of Evidence Synthesis and Acting Head of Policy at the Education Endowment Foundation. He works to promote the use of evidence in schools and policymaking. Jon also leads on the EEF’s evidence synthesis work through the Teaching and Learning Toolkit. He recently authored the EEF’s rapid evidence assessment into remote learning approaches. Jon has been at the EEF since 2014 in a number of roles, including leading the publication of reports on EEF funded randomised controlled trials. Prior to joining the EEF, he worked at the National Education Trust and on a research project on using text messages to increase parental engagement.
