Deputy Headteacher, (Teaching Learning and Assessment)
Denbigh High School, Luton
Jess Pather is presently a Deputy Headteacher at Denbigh High School. Jess is an English specialist who has gained a wide range of experience in education, including as a Subject Leader, Head of Faculty and as a Senior Leader within the core area of teaching and learning. The impact of Jess’s leadership is evidenced through excellent pupil outcomes, including only marginal gaps in achievement for Denbigh’s disadvantaged pupils over a sustained period – both internal to the school and relative to national benchmarks. Denbigh High was recognised by the DfE as the national runner up for Pupil Premium Secondary School of the Year 2017. Jess’s current leadership portfolio centres on teaching, learning and assessment - and research to align with and support Denbigh High’s drive towards world class standards, provision, inclusion and equity.
